Mukavemeti iyi, sa\u011fl\u0131kl\u0131, \u015feffaf olmas\u0131 sebebiyle tercih edilen bir malzemedir.Hem hafif hem de %100 geri d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr\u00fclebilirdir. Temas etti\u011fi \u00fcr\u00fcnlerle herhangi bir kimyasal etkile\u015fiminde bulunmaz. Bu y\u00f6n\u00fcyle g\u0131da \u00fcr\u00fcnleri i\u00e7in ideal bir \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcmd\u00fcr. Bu sayede bir \u00e7ok yiyecek ve i\u00e7ecek maddesi bu malzemeyle birlikte i\u015flenir veya \u00a0paketlenir.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 120%;\">Tarih\u00e7esi<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>PET, ilk defa yeni tekstil lifleri \u00fcretmeye yarayacak bir polimer ara\u015ft\u0131r\u0131l\u0131rken DuPont kimyagerleri taraf\u0131ndan sentezlenmi\u015ftir, ancak \u00e7ok uzun zincirler elde etmeyi m\u00fcmk\u00fcn k\u0131lan teknoloji ICI (Imperial Chemical Industries) taraf\u0131ndan 1941 y\u0131l\u0131nda geli\u015ftirilmi\u015ftir. Polyester lif uygulamalar\u0131 geli\u015ftirilmi\u015f, PET polimeri 1990&#8217;lar\u0131n sonu itibariyle d\u00fcnya geneli sentetik lif \u00fcretiminin %50&#8217;sini olu\u015fturmu\u015ftur. Tek ba\u015f\u0131na yahut pamuk ve y\u00fcn ile beraber kullan\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda y\u0131kamaya\/a\u015f\u0131nmaya kar\u015f\u0131 ve buru\u015fmaya kar\u015f\u0131 daha iyi diren\u00e7 g\u00f6sterir, lif hali `Dacron\u00b4 ya da `Trevira\u00b4 olarak bilinir.<\/p>\n<p>1950&#8217;lerin sonlar\u0131nda, ince ve ekstr\u00fcde edilen bir plakan\u0131n iki y\u00f6nl\u00fc esnetilmesiyle elde edilen bir film halinde geli\u015ftirilmi\u015ftir. Bu haliyle PET film video, foto\u011fraf\u00e7\u0131l\u0131k, x-ray film ve ambalajlarda yayg\u0131n bir kullan\u0131m alan\u0131 yakalam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>1970&#8217;lerin ba\u015flar\u0131nda, belli bir bi\u00e7ime sahip bir kal\u0131p i\u00e7erisinde bir balonu \u015fi\u015firir gibi, hava bas\u0131n\u00e7l\u0131 kal\u0131plama yoluyla \u00fc\u00e7 y\u00f6nde esneme sa\u011flanarak \u015fi\u015fe tipi ilk kaplar \u00fcretilmi\u015f, PET kullan\u0131larak cam \u015fi\u015fenin yerini alacak hafif, sert, k\u0131r\u0131lmaz bir malzeme elde edilmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 120%;\">\u00d6zellikleri<\/span><\/strong><br \/>Polietilen tereftalat y\u00fcksek mukavemet oran\u0131na sahiptir.
